His Excellency Ambassador Uebert Angel is the Republic of Zimbabwe’s Presidential Envoy and Ambassador at Large to the Americas and Europe. He was appointed by His Excellency the President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa in March 2020.
The Ambassadorial role given to him makes him the most senior Ambassador from the Republic of Zimbabwe and his appointment was the first of its kind in the history of Zimbabwean politics. Ambassador Angel has extensive experience as a corporate, humanitarian and governance leader at the global level.
His hallmark signature in these areas also expose his rarely emphasised academic background. Ambassador Angel is educated in the United Kingdom with three degrees to date, he is a holder of an MSc in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Edinburgh Napier University, a professional post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Bolton, and a BSc in Business Finance from the University of Salford respectively.
