2021 Global Excellence in Leadership and Philanthropy Award

In recognition of the philanthropic work that H.E Ambassador Angel does in Southern Africa, under the Uebert Angel Foundation, the Ambassador received the 2021 Global Excellence in Leadership and Philanthropy Award on the 24th of July 2021, at a ceremony held in Accra, Ghana.

The Award honours Ambassador Angel’s humanitarian work which entails, inter alia, feeding programmes for the needy, scholarships for students from primary to university level, and his financial support to orphanages and nursing homes for the elderly. Due to his busy schedule the Award was received in Absentia.
